Posted on January 23, 2013 by John K

Like I said yesterday, I would post some good places where you can find blogging gigs. The list is pretty diverse! I know in the past I’ve mentioned a few spots such as Fiverr, Blogsvertise, BlogDistributor, PayPerPost amongst others, but this goes a bit deeper.

We are talking about engaging, searching in forums, and other little tidbits to help you build multiple streams of income by either writing or posting things for a specific company. Let’s begin shall we:

Craigslist

Yes, yes. Don’t knock this site at all. Not only do you look for physical jobs, but there are some good companies out there that pay pretty solid for content writing. Craigslist has a lot of Marketing/PR and Online Jobs posted up. A lot of times, all you have to do is show a resume and written work. They can get a feel of the type of writer you are and whether or not you’ll fit. This is a great place to get started if you want something a bit more stable and you want to start off by going to a physical place.

Forums

This is another valuable asset because there are top notch marketers that are strapped for time, so it’s important to weigh your options. They will find ways to outsource all the grunt work which greatly helps you find some work. A place I like to go to get ideas on particular topics people might have interest is the Warrior Forum. Some hot topics as of late include a lot of SEO/Traffic Related products. Get well acquainted with the information because you might be able to get a job from that. Also, Problogger is an excellent source to get blogging gigs because of the variety of topics people want you to write. It’s easy and you can access the site right on the Problogger board.

LinkedIn

This is a bit of a slept on place when it comes to things such as article writing. There are tons of professional people looking for writers. Let me clue you into a few good forums to help you get paid blogging gigs. Article Writing, SEO/SEM, amongst others. You can also build a great resume and content with people in your given niche. It’s very easy to get in contact with people directly and you’ll find people will more than likely write you a direct message talking about content options.

Work from Home Sites

This is still pretty relevant especially for the ladies. There are sites out there such as Work At Home Moms WAHM and SITS Girls that pay you to sponsor a post on your site whether it’s for baby products, certain hair treatments, etc. Not only will you be paid for your work but you’ll be compensated with free products. Also, there is a community of people that helps drive traffic to your site and you get paid for writing on different topics. It’s almost like a HubPages in a sense.

All in all, there are tons of places to help you get paid for blogging gigs. Get out there and find ones that work best with your schedule. For good starting tips you can go to, 25 Home Based Businesses and Home Based Businesses Tips.
