Moving to Texas was a big change for me and my family but we needed to do it for my husband’s new job. He actually loves what he does and I’m so happy for him – it was totally worth uprooting our entire family to make this happen. I got pretty bored since both of the kids are older so I started tutoring on the side. Suddenly I had tons of referrals and it turned into quite a business so now I’m in the process of looking for a website designer and researching smallbusiness.xo.com. I guess you never know where life is going to take you and I never would have imagined mine would take me to Dallas – I always hated hot weather growing up so the thought that I’d live somewhere like this never even crossed my mind before Ben mentioned it but now I sure am glad he did! I never could have guessed one day I’d have my own business and live somewhere totally new and different from my old life.
