How to decrease your bounce rate with a faster WordPress site

This is something I’ve always had a problem with until recently. I’ve noticed that I’m getting a lot more views to my site and longer stays because my site is a lot faster due to a number of things. A few of the plugins that were recommended to me was the WP Super Cache. This is a great, great tool that definitely helps to increase your site speed most aggressively. Images, words, and even videos are uploaded really quickly. My Playstation Blog suffered from slow site speed often due to huge spikes in traffic for some really popular topics. Sometimes, I would post game tournaments or livestream for big game events that would garner me a 700 unique visitors in less than an hour. Of course, you need something that can handle that influx of traffic at that fast speed! I would get tickets or so from the host service of my site, and I was like, “You know what? Maybe I should find something a bit better optimized”. This service works wonders, and in combination with a plug-in called Minify – this greatly compressed the images, and javascript code to make the site run more efficiently.

If you have more of a beginner site, then W3 Total Cache is a solid service. I actually use that on this site because my blog here is less prone on graphics, videos, etc. It’s more text and content based, so of course it’s not going to be extremely boggled down by something more visual. For some sites, the Total Cache works a lot better, and other sites – the Super Cache works better. The choice is really yours to see which one fits! These are just a few of the plugins I use to increase speed. It’s VERY imperative that you have these types of things in place, so that you don’t lose traffic, get or complaints, or worse LOSE a POTENTIAL SALE!!!! Under this paragraph, check out a few of the links that will give you some really useful tips on how to make your site run much faster!
