Get on your YouTube game for big changes in online businesses in 2012!

As you’ve noticed before 2012 ended, YouTube has conducted some major changes that will only help to benefit your internet prowess.

One of the most obvious ways they’ve changed is how the basic template looks on your YouTube homepage. It’s a much sleeker and more modern look than the past boring YouTube homepage. The emphasis now is not necessarily the trendiest videos, but more so focused on your subscribers latest videos. If you have a number of subscribers, this means a lot more clicks and views quicker! Your content will be the focal point! It focuses more on your own circle/timeline much like the Facebook live feed! As you can see, there is a major shift in focus for marketing nowadays. YouTube is not only a means to build your viral marketing, but is becoming a different kind of social network within itself.

One of the main things people need to become more abreasted to is being more sociable online. There is a lot of potential in this kind of avenue! You might have the booming random baby or freakiest thing happening in the world clip, but seeing as you have a decent audience and people you normally respond to and comment, you’ll have a better chance now than ever for getting your content viewed! Make sure at the same time you promote your own content, comment, share, and like other content. This is a great way to help other people get their product out and they’ll be more likely to help lend a hand with your own kind of content!

Another section is your YouTube Channel page. Seeing as Youtube is owned by Google, it’s no surprise that SEO is bcoming more apparent. Your title and your keywords or tags are EXTREMELY potent now. Meaning that with the right keywords in your title and your tags that correlate to your video, your video has the change to rank higher in the YouTube search for more views!! Take ADVANTAGE of that tactic because you won’t get boggled down by the search on regular search engines!

Another thing to look at is your YouTube analytics. Know your audience!! What kind of material is your audience looking at the most. Maybe you can come up with some sub-topics to make more specific answers to some questions or concerns your audience may have in your comment section. Be very, very hands on!!! It’s an excellent way to get more views, subscribers, and if you have Adsense MORE CLICKS! Yes! For more information on this subject, check out the Social Media Examiner article on YouTube changes

Here are two examples of videos with what I mean for Viral Media. Two clipse I’ve posted on the new Resident Evil: Retribution movie.

And of course, the Aunt Carol Usher video. This clip was posted in February 2010, but literally two days ago only had 300 views. Now, it’s over the 150,000+ views mark. See the power of viral video marketing at its finest!

Diversify your earnings with Adsense

Adsense

I’ve been on Adsense for less than 2 weeks or so and I’m already earning 5 dollars!!! That’s pretty amazing because I heard people in their first two months make barely 30 cents!! I thank God for learning how to diversify early, and I thank my father for that as well, but the reason I want to get into this is because there are a lot of different ways to make money from Adsense. As I said in a previous post, sometimes you have to go the back way for getting accepted into Adsense. What I originally did was make a YouTube account.

I posted some videos on there just for the purpose of acquiring more traffic to my site! However, I didn’t realize that 2 years later, YouTube would invite me to make revenue from my videos! Think about this way..when you have a visual, there’s a lot more opportunity for people to generally click on your ads!!! Yes, people are more interested in the viral sense of being able to watch a video and listen to something at the same time!

YouTube Adsense

^Sorry for the kind of crude picture, but do you get my reasoning with VISUALS that catch your eye?!

The thing about Adsense with YouTube is that it’s not as saturated as say keywords for websites. This means that you’ll be able to have a video get ranked on YouTube A LOT QUICKER! TRUST ME! When you have videos (yes, plural) that gets hundreds to thousands of views, that QUICKLY adds up. For one thing, people don’t even have to click the ads on the right or on the video for you to make a little bit of dough. The viewership is actually a way to monetize!!! I don’t know the exact going rate for how much you’ll get paid per view, but take the diversity into account. It’s another way of building residual income! Do your research on keyword text on Google. Apply that knowledge and see the types of videos that correlate to your own.

Also, you can have the adsense on your Tumblr. I’ve been registered to Tumblr for maybe 2 years now. And the power of Reblogging and liking is incredible. It spreads just as much as if you were posting a YouTube video. And if you are smart, you’ll be able to customize your own theme to help cater to your Adsense ads! Yes, you can embed it right in your description, which a really smart way of kind meshing your adsense with text that matches in color!

Don’t just depend on your initial blog to get you the Adsense clicks that you want. Yes, use that, but don’t stop there! CREATE MORE WAYS of building your income, and you’ll be more successful. This applies to ALL aspects of business!

Here are a few videos to help you diversify with Tumblr, Blogging, and YouTube!

Using YouTube will greatly increase your site traffic!!

Create a Radio Show and Reach Millions.

YouTube

This is one of the newer ways to truly get different sources of traffic to your site. For one thing, you are putting a face to the name behind your site. It confirms that you are indeed human, and not a bot =P. HAHAHA. It’s a good way to help get your message out clearer because you can add visual aid just in case someone does not understand.

V-logs (video logs) are great ways to help virally advertise your business. For example, if I had a particular post on my site I wanted to get through virally. I would go to YouTube or other video media sites, and maybe create a short 2-3 minute video explaining what I’m talking about. In the description, I would have a link with that exact blog post to delineate what I’m talking about. That way people can get the visual as well as written aid. Some people are more auditory and visual learners than anything. That actually applies to me because I learn by seeing and repeating and eventually figuring out what works for me.

I’ve used a different method in the past as far as videos, which was basically creating my own videos or non-copyrighted videos to help send the traffic to my site. For example, if a new game were coming out, I’d get the latest preview, and put the right kinds of tags and description on the subject then actively communicate right on the YouTube. Of course, I’d have a backlink to not only my post, but the product associated with the game. It’s actually a really fast way to get some good backlinks. In fact, my site’s traffic went way up because the number of views on that particular post within a week rose to over 1,000 views. Now it’s currently at 10,000 views.

Another thing about using YouTube is that they actually reward you for getting a certain number of views on your YouTube. In fact, they just invited me the other day to monetize. They put Google Adsense on your actual video and to the right with the 300 x 250 box. Pretty cool, right? So now I’m deciding what kinds of videos do I actually want to post. Hmm. Google also has pagerank as well. So if your views get up to the millions, do you know what that can do for your blog with a high level backlink that basically is an affiliate of your blog? Great right? So get to making a YouTube account and get the conversation flowing. You can create banners right on your account, so they can backtrack to your Facebook page, Twitter, and your blog.

Put the same type of value you put in your blog. Make sure you can capitvate the reader’s attention. Really know what you’re talking about.

Go get it!!!
