I know I’ve made a previous post about Pinterest, but I’m noticing a huge, huge trend. Now, as I’ve said before – Fiverr is an excellent way to do simple tasks to build up some extra income on the side. As you may or not have guessed it, I have a cocktail website that goes by the name of Great Cocktail Recipes. It gets a lot of traffic based on the type of recipes I post, the videos, and pictures. I originally didn’t intend on posting anything on Pinterest really Fiverr related.
I created a gig on Fiverr that sets up a simple 150 word post promoting your drink, bar, nightclub, restaurant or recipe on my cocktail website for $5. I’ve done some research and found out that 97% of Pinterest audience right now is catered to females generally in the late 20s to middle age realm. It really makes sense now that I think about because the picture on my Fiverr Gig is of a classic cocktail called The Manhattan.
Originally, I created the gig on Fiverr as a means to be a great summer gig. I advertise different recipes, sites, restaurants that people bring to me and I might get paid a bit, but the idea of gaining more traffic, and more presence to my site was the original intention! Now, with Pinterest in the mix, it’ll work for me double time because people will like my pins, repin as a way to draw in traffic as well as get people to subscribe to my Pinterest account and Blogger!
This is really powerful work because it’s almost like a wheel circling around with different traffic. The great thing about Fiverr and Pinterest is you can post your links to Tumblr, now just imagine that. That’s more potential traffic leading back to your site! As a result of doing this experiment and just looking at cocktails that get attention, I now find what types of recipes I can post on my cocktail blog that will be great for the upcoming season. It’s an excellent way to do preliminary research! If you go on Fiverr, you’ll notice that there are a lot of gigs regarding Pinterest. It’s obvious that a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon and will continue to utilize Pinterest for a number of reasons. Check out my site on two different Manhattan Recipes
